Many of us are feeling the direct impact of the Coronavirus in our lives and work. Our hearts and thoughts are with all dealing with the brunt of this novel virus. We understand the disruption this can have on you and your loved ones. We want to assure our user base that Genuitec will continue to operate as much as normal. Given our global presence and virtual remote workforce, we don’t anticipate any service or technical impact on your development needs.
Earlier this year we made early access to CodeTogether available. CodeTogether allows remote pair programming from Eclipse and VS Code (Update: IntelliJ support now available), which can prove helpful for companies impacted by COVID-19. In recognition, we have reevaluated our timeline and strategy; specifically we have deferred the date when features for larger collaborative sessions require a paid license. We feel substantially delaying when we monetize advanced features is justified in the context of this global pandemic. CodeTogether does have a robust free plan and will continue to do so into the future.
