So, should I de-install everything, and installed it again?

MyEclipse 6.5 will still be based on Eclipse 3.3, so we will offer a MyEclipse 6.1 to 6.5 upgrade path. You shouldn’t need to do a clean install.

Although the easiest thing would just be to use Pulse (www.poweredbypulse.com) from now on to manage installs, it handles all upgrades/dependencies/etc. automatically.

    I am running on:
    Linux RedHat 2.6.9-67.EL
    JDK1.6.0_1
    Eclipse Platform

    Version: 3.3.3.r33x_r20080129-_19UEl7Ezk_gXF1kouft
    Build id: M20080221-1800

    MyEclipse Application Server Tooling

    Version: 6.0.1.zmyeclipse601200710
    Build id: 6.0.1-GA-200710

This is become very annoying. It works just fine in XP but on Linux I am keep getting:

An internal error occurred during: “JSP Semantics Validator (JSF)”.
    org/eclipse/wst/sse/ui/internal/reconcile/validator/ValidationHelper

Also, none of the above solution is working, It seems like all the above plugins already has been removed (no wst). Any suggestion?

    farhad,
Again, I would suggest using Pulse to install MyEclipse; it will rule out any install incompatibility issues.

I temporarily solved this issue by renaming the plugins/org.eclipse.wst.sse.ui_1.0.305.v200802142230.jar file to plugins/org.eclipse.wst.sse.ui_1.0.305.v200802142230.jar_, hence disabling it.

The rest of my Workbench seems to work fine, but I have absolutely no ideas what impact this may have on other workbenches…

I’ve tried this but after renaming the file MyEclipse Perspective did not work.
This is no Solution for me.

Is anyone else still having problems with this with MyEclipse 6.5? I hope not…
