You should not face issue related to update progress provided you have modified your myeclipse.ini and added a higher -Xmx value and removed Maven4MyEclipse feature.
I am afraid, at this point, I cannot point out the plugin for subversion 1.6 added as a local site as I do not have a complete view of your personal software list under My Software.

Based on the above I believe the issue – update progress is fixed. Let me know if you face any other issue.
