User reports seeing grayed out lines when scrolling in all views except the editors with DevStyle enabled.

Grayed out lines recover when the mouse pointer is moved over them.

User has set the desktop theme to OSX-Arc-Darker. He also has “Global Dark Theme” enabled in Tweak Tool. Reverting back to the default Ambiance theme did not fix the problem.

Downgrading to GTK2 fixes the problem but the UI does not look good.
