i just downloaded myeclipse (this was the first day I’ve used it) and I did because I am now working on an old app that was developed by a past developer.
There are all kinds of comments relating to myeclipse in the code such as:
” @author MyEclipse Persistence Tools”
and
” Mapping file autogenerated by MyEclipse Persistence Tools”
I can guess that the developer used the what do you call it.. “orm reverse engineering tool” probably..
but..
my question is now that the code was generated (most specifically hibernate)… what is now the best way or easiest way to edit these files? Is this now accomplished by manually editing text files, or is there a visual tool or some kind of “reverse engineering” tool that still can be used for this? I have no idea about myeclipse yet, so I thought to ask here.
Thanks in advance for answers or tips..
