Hi,
I got a new PC with Windows 7, installed MyEclipse 8.6 and point it to an old project filder created under Windows XP under MyEclipse 6.0.1. When MyEclipse comes up, I don’t see the project in my Package Explorer, why is that? Do I need to migrate the workspace? If so how should I proceed, any help appreciated.Thanks,

Typically, if you install the latest MyEclipse version and point to the old workspace, it should list the projects from your old workspace in your package explorer. But you mention that you have moved to a new PC with different OS. Make sure that you have copied the workspace from your XP system to Windows 7 system properly. I would recommend you do the following – from MyEclipse IDE, menu options click on File > Import > General > Existing Projects into Workspace and follow the wizard.
