Hi,

I am using MyEclipse Blue 8.1 and configured WebSpehre 6.1 connector successfully. I get this error when I try to start the server. I thought this is due to the space in ‘Program files’ directory name so I tried used ‘Progra~1’ equivalent but the problem persists.

The java class is not found: Files\IBM\WebSphere\AppServer\profiles\AppSrv02\temp\cachedir -Dosgi.configuration.area=C:\Program

Any help would be appreciated,

Can you check if you can start Websphere standalone app server by Itself?

Can you try re-installing Websphere? Please follow the steps as given in the following tutorial – http://www.myeclipseide.com/documentation/quickstarts/websphere6/

Reinstalling WAS 6.1 resolved the issue. Thanks for the tips.
