As I am becoming familiar with MyEclipse (5.1.0 GA), I have been using the MyEclipse Web Browser more and more.

Is there a way to clear the history/cache from the address bar drop down?

I believe the history is cleared when you restart MyEclipse. To keep URLs around longer, you can add them to the ‘favorites’ for the browser.

Unfortunately restarting MyEclipse does not clear the history in the address bar drop down.

For the MyEclipse Web Browser, your history is stored per workspace. In order to clear your history for a particular workspace, you will need to delete the following file:
<your_workspace_dir>/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.core.runtime/.settings/com.genuitec.org.eclipse.webbrowser.prefs

You could also manually edit the file and remove the history entries, but the simplest thing to do is just delete it.
