How to Disable Visual Designer’s Backup File Policy

When introducing new Visual Designer features we occasionally must update the .mobi file format to accommodate the new features. The default behavior of the Visual Designer when it attempts to load an older file version is to notify you that an upgrade is required and give you an option to create a back up of the file before performing the upgrade. See the notification dialog below.

If you check the “Don’t ask me again” option then your response will be saved and applied to all future upgrade procedures.

You can revise the default options from the Window menu > Settings > General page.
