Hello,

First of all, congratulations for your excellent work with MyEclipse 6.5!

I have problems adding MyEclipse Features. When I try to add MyEclipse Features, the MyEclipse Quick Install dialog appears with this message: “All available MyEclipse-compatible features have been installed”

I don’t have Matisse4MyEclipse nor MyEclipse Reports installed but I have a MyEclipse 6.0 installed.

Before install MyEclipse 6.5 GA I have a 6.5 M1 installed. I uninstalled M1 version before install 6.5 GA version.

When I tested MyEclipse 6.6 M1, I had no problems installing Matisse4MyEclipse nor MyEclipse Reports.

I created even a new and clean Workspace but the problem persist.

What can I do?

You mean 6.5M1 ? The 6.5M1 All in One installed had Matisse integrated in the installer.

You are using the All in One installer or the plugin installer to setup MyEclipse 6.5?

Can you go to MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details and paste the information here for me.

Hi Nipun,

I installed 6.5M1 All in One. Then, this morning I uninstalled 6.5M1 and I installed 6.5GA All in One. An old 6.01 All in One remains in my laptop.

Installation details: This weekend impossible. I forgot my laptop at work but I’ll install 6.5 in my desktop at home and if the problem persist at home I send you the Installation Details file. If not, monday I’ll paste the Installation Details.

Did you install 6.5 GA to a brand new location? Incase you didn’t, I would like you to install 6.5 GA to a brand new location and test this again to see if it works.

Could you switch to a new workspace (File > Switch Workspace > Temp) and try updating again. Does it work?

Today at home I started MyEclipse and the Quick Update appears. The same workspace, no installation changes nor plugins added. May be we are in front of an “X File”?

I’ll try in my laptop tomorrow. I’ll send you the trial results.
