I went through the exact set of tutorial steps for our application, but when I “Run As” a MyEclipse Application, I get a huge stack of errors with messages about not being able to create this or auto inject that.

Is there a support email I can send this Exception stack to? I’ll be glad to send an ERD as well if that would be helpful.

(Because of proprietary concerns, I can’t post the Exception stack publicly)

Yes, resolved.

I believe there was some garbage in the MyEclipse built-in server’s directory or something from multiple test builds.

Deploying to (external) Tomcat worked fine.

Now seems to be working fine in both.

Great! One thing I have noticed is that if you close a project that is deployed to the server, prior to removing it from the server, that it can be left in the servers deploy directory and cause problems. If you click on a deployed project under the server and right click and explore the deploy directory, then back up one level, you can sometimes see old projects there that need to be deleted.
