    Hi,
I am running ‘MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench’, here is the installation details:

    Version: 10.6
    Build id: 10.6-20120727

Using ‘MyEclipse Configuration Center’ to install following plugin:

    Name: Activiti BPMN 2.0 designer
    Url: http://activiti.org/designer/update

    I get following errors:

    –Software being installed: MyEclipse 10 (Profile) 2.0.0.0000000004 (com.poweredbypulse.profile-982704-rmb-3301006 2.0.0.0000000004)

    —-To: org.eclipse.graphiti.feature.feature.jar [0.9.0.v20120613-0805]

Based on my reading, it looks like the problem has to do with JAR version mismatch where MyEclipse has:

    org.eclipse.graphiti.feature.feature.jar 0.8.0.v20110607-1252

while the new plugin requires version:

    org.eclipse.graphiti.feature.feature.jar 0.9.0.v20120613-0805

In addition, I have identified the module that is using this JAR in MyEclipse is ‘Eclipse Modeling Project’.

    What are my options here?

    Thanks,

    Koorosh

    Synopsys,

Sorry that you are seeing this issue. We do not provide intrinsic support for third party plugins, but we will try to assist you in this case.

I do see the issue when trying to install the plugin at my end. I have filed a PR for the dev team to check on this one.
I am afraid we have no other options to give you at this point.

    Sorry for inconvenience caused.

    Hi,
I was able to install an older version of Activiti plugin, 5.8 with MyEclispe. It turns out the problem was MyEclipse 10.6 includes Graphiti 0.8 while Activiti 5.10 requires Graphiti 0.9. Since the latest Acitivit release includes important enhancement, could you find out when MyEclipse would upgrade to the newer version of Graphiti?

    Thanks,

    Koorosh

    Hi,

we have the same issue here with activiti and graphiti 0.9.1. Right know we have to install dedicated eclipse instances.

Has the Dev team an estimation when the issue could be resolved?

    Thanks in advance,
    Jan Meyer

Can you please let us know what is the ETA on this issue as we are completely dependent on this for our project.

Apologies for the delay in responding. Would using MyEclipse 2013 be an option? It uses Graphiti 0.9.0 as opposed to version 0.8.0 that MyEclipse 10 uses and therefore should allow installation of the designer.

Please see this topic for details on how the designer can be installed into MyEclipse 10.x. Unfortunately it will not work out of the box with 2013 either, but a fix for that will be in the upcoming 2013 SR1 release.

If you experience any issues with the workaround, please comment here.

The SR1 release is now available, via downloaded installers or in-product updates. Update sites should be available later this week.
