How about a section people can post links to app and web apps to showcase what is possible with MobiOne. I think this would really help newer users before they buy who are wondering if Mobione can do what they want.

Definitely agree with cincy planet on the showcase portion of the forum to help and rate people on there apps. We need to support and help each other build a network.

I also agree, but possibly would like to see it taken even further with improvements to the forum in general. It would be great to see the forum expand out of its current role as a software support forum into a mobione community forum.

Over the last 6 months or so i think there has been a very positive shift towards members helping out, answering problems a helping out other users. Expanding the forum out would help build a larger community which in turn will help market mobione. It doesn’t have to be radical change, just things like having a gerneral news forum for posting topical mobile development news and replacing the how to with a tutorial section. Possibly even letting the community help out moderating some of the forums.

I think a very good place to look for ideas is the Corona forums, they have got it right on the money with a vibrant comunity led forum, which just helps sell the concept of their product.
