Hi there,

Hope someone can help me on this.

I want to know is the startup screen only works for iOS or it is working as a splash screen for the android as well. Don’t seem to work as i see a white screen before the apps is launch

I just design a simple screen that would like to have a flash screen for a couple of seconds before the apps is launch, is the startup screen option is ticked suppose to work this way.

I am enclosing a sample Appreciate if i could find a sample for android to follow

Android apps/webapp do not support splash images. The dev team is working on a special implementation to make them work similar to iOS.

Hi Wayne,

I did not test on the iOS as i do not have the iphone. But in the simulator the iphone the splash screen (which is a image file did not come out too.

Hi fchong,

I guess you’re setting the iOS Webapp Startup Image property, that is shown when you add a web app url to your home screen, the startup for a native app is that you configure on the Build Wizard (See step #8 http://www.genuitec.com/mobile/docs/buildiosapp/buildiosapp.html#using_build_ios_wizard)
